Sistahs R.E.A.D. began in 2008 as a small reading group of college friends interested in sharing their passion for reading with others.  They began with a simple notion: Each Sistah, Invite a Sistah. Before long, their quaint group had tripled in size, and they learned rather quickly that the passion they secretly shared for so long, was also shared by many others.
